What supports the claim?

Evidence labels show what is available and what was checked. They are separate from importance.

Author claim

The authors report the result. AIProofWatch has identified its source and scope, without checking the proof.

Accessible artifact / proof

A proof, code, construction, or dataset is available. Availability does not mean it was checked.

Independent checking

Someone outside the author team checked the relevant claim. The record links their assessment and states its scope.

Formal checking

A proof assistant reportedly checked a specific statement under stated assumptions. The record identifies who ran the check; author reports are labelled.

Peer review

The linked paper underwent peer review. This does not establish reproduction, formal checking, or freedom from errors.

What counts as a check?
  • A public repository shows availability, not independent checking.
  • An arXiv upload does not establish peer review.
  • Ordinary tests do not establish formal verification.
  • Each checking record names the checker, statement, assumptions, and reported or reproduced basis.
