What was already known
Infinite-dimensional finitely generated nil algebras were known. Ufnarovskij asked whether a finitely presented nil algebra must be nilpotent.
AI involvement
OpenAI credits its internal model with this manuscript and its underlying ring construction. Staff selected and released the work; no human-origin derivation of the algebra is identified.
OpenAI model authorship and the manuscript's separately stated nil-algebra result establish central model work; autonomy beyond the standard evaluation procedure is undocumented.

Importance
The construction would answer Ufnarovskij’s finite-presentation question.
Limitations
The algebra is derived from the graded ring used for a periodic-group construction. The released formal target concerns the group, and no completed check of the algebra deduction is documented.
Technical verification
The released Lean Burnside comparator proves periodic-group existence only; it does not state that the algebra is nil, nonnilpotent, infinite-dimensional or finitely presented. No completed check of this separate algebra claim was found.
Human understanding
No named human explanation of the ring-to-nil-algebra mechanism is documented; this is a missing-evidence default.
Correction and publication history
The construction would answer Ufnarovskij’s finite-presentation question.
